Electric vehicle manufacturer EKA Mobility announced on Wednesday its commitment to provide 1,000 electric buses for intercity transportation to GreenCell Mobility. The two entities have formalized this arrangement through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
EKA Mobility will oversee the supply, sales, and service aspects of the 12-meter and 13.5-meter intercity electric buses, and will also be responsible for delivering quality certification reports.
Sudhir Mehta, the Founder and Chairman of EKA Mobility, expressed the strategic importance of their collaboration with GreenCell Mobility, emphasizing the role it plays in advancing a cleaner and more sustainable future through electric mass transportation.
Devndra Chawla, the Managing Director and CEO of GreenCell Mobility highlighted the significance of the partnership in bolstering their market position and aligning with their long-term vision for sustainable mobility.
