Creatara, an electric vehicle (EV) company founded by Vikas Gupta and Ringlarei Pamei from IIT Delhi, has introduced its vehicle concepts, VS4 and VM4, at IIT Delhi’s Research & Innovation Park. This marks a significant step in the EV sector, redefining urban travel through a blend of safety, customization, and advanced technology.

The EV sector in India is undergoing rapid expansion, exhibiting an annual growth rate surpassing 20%. Creatara enters this booming market, driven by factors such as rising fuel prices, environmental concerns, and government initiatives like the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid &) Electric Vehicles (FAME) scheme. The company aims to achieve 30% electrification of India’s vehicle fleet by 2030.

Creatara addresses safety concerns with features like safe-start technology and efficient passive battery pack cooling, ensuring rider peace of mind. The India-centric design is tailored for diverse terrains and usage scenarios, enhancing rider safety and awareness through state-of-the-art sensors and GPS tracking.

The modular vehicle platform is a key aspect, adaptable to various use cases. The recent Moto-Cross variant VM4 exemplifies this adaptability with features designed for hill-friendly navigation and challenging terrains.

Vikas Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO of Creatara stated, “Our aim is to revolutionize personal mobility for the next generation. Our specifically crafted electric motorcycles go beyond being mere vehicles; they represent an expression of innovation, sustainability, and individualized freedom, created to align with the dynamic lifestyles of contemporary consumers.”

Creatara’s indigenous designs offer unmatched customization options, reflecting the company’s commitment to meeting the unique preferences of every rider. Performance-wise, Creatara sets high standards with rapid acceleration and a top speed of 100 kmph, challenging the misconception of compromised performance in EVs. The features are supported by a robust proprietary Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) for stability and long-term durability.
