This expansion, in partnership with the renowned Kedia Organisation, marks a pivotal moment in GEMPL’s journey into the international electric vehicle (EV) landscape.
The strategic collaboration designates the Kedia Organisation as the exclusive authorized distributor for Ampere Electric two-wheelers in Nepal, overseeing sales, marketing, distribution, and after-sales support. With the unveiling of their flagship showroom in Teku, Kathmandu, Ampere plans to establish multiple outlets and dealerships across the country.
Nepal’s burgeoning electric two-wheeler sector, fueled by a rising environmental consciousness and government backing for EVs, presents a promising market. The allure of electric vehicles is bolstered by Nepal’s mountainous terrain and increasing fuel costs, solidifying its potential within the electric mobility industry.
Ampere’s offerings in the Nepalese market center around the Primus and Magnus models. The Primus, equipped with an LFP battery pack prioritizing safety, boasts heightened performance via a PMS motor, belt drive, and smart connected cluster for seamless navigation. Meanwhile, the Magnus model offers top-tier performance and comfort with an array of exciting features.
