Orxa Energies, a startup specializing in electric motorcycles, has unveiled its new manufacturing and battery assembly facility in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Situated in the Bommasandra Industrial Area and spanning across 1 acre, the facility has the capacity to produce 20,000 electric bikes under the Mantis brand.

The site also includes dedicated spaces for research and development, Mantis assembly stations, battery assembly lines, and a product testing centre.

The joint R&D and production facility will allow Orxa Energies to leverage its internal engineering talent to enhance vehicle technology, production methods, and assembly processes for their motorcycles.

The company plans to launch its flagship electric performance motorcycle, the Mantis, by the end of this year, featuring a 9Kw battery pack with a range of 200km per charge.

Orxa Energies has secured funding from the SAR group, which has been instrumental in expediting the launch of the Mantis. Additionally, the company has organized track days for the Mantis in various cities in the coming months, further promoting its forthcoming electric motorcycle to interested customers.
