Omega Seiki Mobility has unveiled its latest electric urban passenger vehicle, the OSM Stream City, with competitive pricing starting at Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom).
The OSM Stream City is available in two versions: the Stream City ATR, which comes with swappable battery features and a price tag of Rs 1.85 lakh, and the Stream City 8.5, equipped with a fixed battery and priced at Rs 3.01 lakh (ex-showroom).
Omega Seiki Mobility aims to provide a comprehensive three-wheeler solution, catering to both cargo and passenger segments. The company has significantly ramped up production and plans to sell over 10,000 electric three-wheelers in FY24.
The introduction of swappable batteries is made possible through a partnership with Sun Mobility, ensuring convenient battery interchange for customers through an extensive network.
The OSM Stream City ATR offers a range of 80 kilometres on a single charge, while the OSM Stream City 8.5 boasts a range of 117 km. With a widespread network of 175-plus dealerships across India and partnerships with leading banks and NBFCs, Omega Seiki Mobility aims to facilitate vehicle retail finance options for customers.
The battery swap facility is not so widely available and hence stage by stage introduction is needed. The distance per charge should be min 120-100 kms at Least .
Swap centers should be available at 5 kms grids for instilling confidence amongst the auto drivers.
