Zomato and Zypp Electric, India’s largest tech-enabled EV-as-a-service platform, have joined up to deliver 1 lakh electric scooters by 2024. As part of the agreement, Zypp will also give Zomato delivery partners for last-mile deliveries in a number of Indian cities.
By placing more than 13,000 electric vehicles on the roads, Zypp Electric has made tremendous progress towards sustainable transportation. By 2024, Zypp wants to make more than one billion deliveries using its electric vehicles, reducing carbon emissions by up to 35 million kg. This partnership is a part of Zomato’s bigger ambition to switch over to all-electric operations by the year 2030 as part of its dedication to “The Climate Group’s EV100” project. Zypp is revolutionising the delivery and ride-sharing industries with its tech-enabled, environmentally friendly EV solutions, and they have over 50 notable clients.

Zypp presently offers EV solutions and delivery partners to companies like Zomato, Swiggy, BigBasket, Amazon, Flipkart, Zepto, Blinkit, and many others. Their electric scooters with Internet of Things capabilities are ideal for last-mile logistics because to their in-house developed fleet management technology and features that promote usage.
