Indian Government Sanctions Rs. 800 Crores For Setting Up 7432 Public Fast Charging Stations
The Union Minister of Heavy Industries, Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, announced the sanction of Rs. 800 crores under FAME India Scheme Phase II to the PSU Oil Marketing Companies (OMC) – Indian Oil (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) – for setting up 7432 public fast charging stations across the country. The Committee headed by DG BEE recommended certain changes to improve the viability of the development of public charging infrastructure. It includes supporting the upstream infrastructure (such as distribution transformer, LT & HT cables, AC distribution boxes, circuit breakers/isolators, protection equipment, tubular or PCC mounting structures, fencing, and civil work) which generally costs up to 60% of the overall cost for setting up a Public EV charging station.
Gogoro Partners With Zomato And Kotak Mahindra Prime To Accelerate Adoption Of Sustainable Electric Vehicles In India

Gentari Partners With Tata Motors And Gati KWE To Deliver Electric Vehicles In India
Gentari, through its affiliated entity Amplus Power Supply Private Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, in 2022, whereby the latter will deliver 5,000 units of Tata Ace EV – India’s most advanced, zero-emission, four-wheel small commercial vehicle, over three years. The MoU includes the delivery of 1,000 units in the first year, for deployment in cities such as Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Kolkata. To mark the delivery of the first batch of 100 trucks throughout March and April this year, a vehicle handover ceremony was held at the 8th Smart Cities India Expo – where Gentari is the official Green Mobility Solutions partner, between Shah Yang Razalli, Gentari’s Chief Green Mobility Officer and Ashish Tandon, Senior General Manager, Product Line – SCV&PUs, Tata Motors.

Sun Mobility, a leader in providing energy infrastructure and services to electric vehicles, has partnered with Zomato, an online ordering platform, and food delivery service, to power 50,000 electric two-wheelers across the country, over the next 24 months using its battery swap solutions. With an initial fleet deployment, the association was confirmed in Delhi. According to the partners, this move aligns with Zomato’s commitment to ‘The Climate Group’s EV100 initiative that implies 100 EV adoption by 2030’. It also supports Sun Mobility’s mission of electrifying last-mile deliveries to India.
Gentari Signs MoU With MoEVing To Provide 1,500 Electric Cargo Vehicles On Subscription For Its VaaS Offering
Clean energy solutions provider Gentari is maintaining its steady pace in delivering decarbonisation to key markets globally. In India, its green mobility arm is catalysing growth via a series of partnerships and investments. Gentari further expanded its Vehicle-as-a-Service (VaaS) offering through an MoU with electric mobility provider MoEVing Urban Technology Private Limited (MoEVing) to provide 1,000 three-wheeler and 500 four-wheeler electric cargo vehicles on subscription. The document exchange ceremony held during the 8th Smart Cities India Expo saw Gentari represented by its Chief Executive Officer for green mobility solutions in India, Abhishek Dabas, while MoEVing was represented by its Founder and CEO, Vikash Mishra.
Blowhorn Partners With Denso And Honda For Sustainable Deliveries Across India
Blowhorn, a Bengaluru-based platform for same-day delivery, has partnered with Japanese auto giants Denso and Honda in order to create a sustainable, environmentally-friendly solution for India’s perishable goods delivery. The association will focus on the safe and secure delivery and collection of food, groceries, and pharmaceuticals within the country. According to the start-up, it was selected as the logistic partner due to its extensive network of last-mile services within the city. Blowhorn, who is currently running the pilot program at Bengaluru, will continue to assess the efficiency of the project, including fuel cost, vehicle maintenance, and the life of products delivered, in order to accelerate the transition to a 100% cleaner fleet by 2025.
Fujiyama Launches Five Electric Scooters In India
Fujiyama introduces five electric scooters, starting at Rs 49,499 to Rs 99,999. There are four low-speed models: Spectra, Spectra Pro, Vespar, and Thunder models, as well as one high-speed model, Ozone+. According to the company, the maximum electricity consumption is 2-3 units for a ride of around 140+ km. Fujiyama’s BLDC motor claims to be extremely efficient and low-maintenance. Fujiyama will provide the first three services at no cost, and thereafter the vehicle will need to be charged Rs 249. The company plans to launch two electric bikes in the next few months. The first is a traditional electric scooter that has a range of up to 160 km for Rs 69,999 and the second is a motorcycle that would be Rs 99,999. Fujiyama plans to launch an e-loader as well as commercial three-wheelers within the next few months.

Evera provides app-based cab services in the national capital and has signed one of the largest orders for electric vehicle fleet operation with BYD India.
