Haryana government notifies electric vehicle (EV) policy 2022. There are 12 schemes under the policy including electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Anand Mohan Sharan, Additional Chief Secretary of the Industries and Commerce Department said that this policy will encourage research and development in electric vehicles (EVs). The policy includes provisions to improve the infrastructure and lower the initial cost of electric vehicles. According to an official statement, hybrid EV buyers will also be eligible for incentives.
In June, Haryana’s government approved the EV Policy 2022 which offers several financial incentives for EV manufacturers.
