Mahindra & Mahindra And Charge+Zone Partners To Establish EV Charging Stations

Mahindra & Mahindra and Charge+Zone have announced a partnership in order to establish a network of electric vehicle charging stations that will serve Mahindra’s electric SUVs.

Mahindra’s electric vehicle users will be able to use Charge+Zone’s 2500+ charging stations in 25 cities and 10,000kms highways by the end of the fiscal. The founder and CEO of Charge+Zone, Kartikey Hariyani, stated, “With this partnership, we aim to create a well-connected ecosystem which would not only provide Electric SUV owners with access to fast charging stations across the country but also will help the EV ecosystem expand.”

Charge+Zone will work with Mahindra to install, commission, and maintain fast DC chargers in various locations. This includes offices, owned or rented sites, and other areas designated by Mahindra and its affiliates and group companies.

The partnership will also include the development of e-mobility solutions that span discovery, availability, and navigation as well as transactions. These charging stations are designed to charge e4Ws and will be available to the public, users, and partners of Mahindra.

The President of Mahindra & Mahindra’s Automotive Sector, Veejay Nakra, stated, “We look forward to bringing sustainable and profitable EV solutions to accelerate mass adoption of battery-electric vehicles in India. We are delighted to have partnered with them for our upcoming range, which includes the soon-to-launch XUV400 EV.”
