Bounce Partners With CSC e-Governance Services India To Increase Its Presence In Rural India

CSC e-Governance Services India, a Special Purpose Vehicle under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of India has signed a partnership agreement with Bounce. Bounce will increase its presence in rural India through this partnership with CSC e-Governance Services India, which allows it to sell its products and services via the CSC network.

The company will initially offer the Bounce Infinity electric scooters and fleet rental. It can also retrofit two- and three-wheelers. The partnership aims to provide Bounce’s mobility services to rural customers throughout the country.

Bounce plans to increase its reach to more than 7 lakh villages in India with the MoU. The centres have trained VLEs (Village-level Entrepreneurs), who can answer all questions about financial products and enable sales and service in rural areas.

The agreement was signed in a formal ceremony that took place in New Delhi by VP – Expansion of Bounce, Sachin Vasanth Shenoy, and IAS MD, CSC SPV, Dinesh Tyagi with Head of CSC Rural e-Mobility Initiative Common Services Centre SPV, Gaurav Kumar Chaudhary.

Gaurav Kumar Chaudhary said, “This partnership with Bounce will take this initiative forward where our VLEs will set up dealerships for Bounce Infinity, start retrofit franchises and also start a fleet rental business in locations which have a strong inflow of tourists.”

Sachin Shenoy said, “Our partnership with CSC is in line with the government of India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision. Mobility is a significant factor in rural areas, especially when it comes to commercial activities, and it is the bridge between rural and urban India. Our partnership with CSC would play a significant role in enabling those living in rural India with the power of choice, to choose products and services that work for them.”
