
Mahindra Electric Mobility records a three-fold jump in the sale of its electric three-wheeler (E3W) in the financial year 2021-22. The company sold 16,862 units during this period.
In the previous fiscal year which is 2020-21, the company sold 5,376 units. Mahindra Electric closed its 2021-22 financial year with a market share of 73.4%.
Commenting on the sales performance, Mahindra Electric Mobility CEO Suman Mishra said, “…over this past year, we have significantly expanded our EV footprint while reducing pollution that would otherwise have needed 20 Lakh trees to be planted, and contributed to the government’s vision of sustainable development.”
Mahindra Electric Mobility is a part of Mahindra Group. It has a wide range of electric three-wheelers including Treo Zor, e Alfa Cargo, e Alfa Mini, Treo auto, and Treo Yaari.
Recently, Mahindra Electric Mobility delivered the first Treo auto to a beneficiary – Narinder Singh Chaudhry, stand pradhan from Amritsar Railway Station under its RAAHI project.
