BluSmart Mobility launches its first intercity electric vehicle ride from Delhi-NCR to Chandigarh and from Delhi-NCR to Jaipur. The company will offer MG ZS EV to its users for intercity travel.
Intercity rides are only available for Blu Prive members (a loyalty program of BluSmart). It will be available for all members in the coming months.
The company has been setting up EV charging infrastructure across Delhi-NCR for its electric fleet. With intercity rides, the company aims to promote EVs and boost the process of setting up EV charging infrastructure.
“EVs have a reputation of being able to commute only within the city. With our intercity launch, we are busting the myth around range anxiety and making intercity commute possible with an electric car. This is only the start of our expansion. In a parallel vision with government reforms, with ride-hailing 2.0, BluSmart plans to expand its horizon to different cities by developing charging infrastructure and expanding our fleet,” said Anmol Jaggi, Co-Founder, and CEO at BluSmart Mobility.
As of now, BluSmart Mobility has 1000+ electric cars across Delhi-NCR with vehicles from MG, Mahindra, and Tata. The company also claims to have no surge pricing and no ride cancellations.
