Zoomroo Electric Unveils Cost-Effective Electric Cargo Three-Wheelers

With India swift in its actions to achieve the aim to convert a major chunk of the 6 million three-wheelers on the road to electric by 2030, Zoomroo Electric has certainly played a trump card.

On January 5, Zoomroo, an electric vehicle (EV) brand of Surat-based Zoomroo Electric, released electric three-wheelers for several application categories such as freight loaders, waste disposal, and passenger auto.

Going electric saves money on operational costs for three-wheelers, ranging from freight loaders to waste disposal vehicles.

Recognizing the significant development opportunities in the last-mile mobility business, Zoomroo offers a series of electric 3-wheelers, with cutting-edge technology, to address the need for last-mile mobility, delivering exceptional customer value.

Jenish Shah, Zoomroo’s founder and an independent director of Regency Fincrop Limited, expressed that India is fast embracing EVs, “Our ‘Zoomroo’ brand is built on lead-acid and lithium-ion technology, and one of the best electric 3-wheeler, connecting mobility platforms in altering last-mile mobility,” that will assist consumers to rise and fulfil their ambitions.

Explaining the efficiency and cost-effectiveness Zoomroo electric 3-wheelers can offer, Shah added that yearly fuel expenses of 3-wheeler EV are approximately Rs 10,500, whereas annual fuel costs for the diesel and CNG vehicles are roughly Rs 1,06,800 and Rs 65,000, respectively, for 100 km covered every day.

Jenish Shah created Zoomroo Electric, which was co-founded by Vishal Abrol, director of Vani Fincom Limited, which is Zoomroo Electric’s funding partner. The firm has stated that up to 30% of the down payment on Zoomroo e-3-wheelers would be waived.

Zoomroo’s goal is to reach 25,000 consumers across India by the end of 2025, stated Vishal Abrol, along with assisting the nation in reducing its carbon footprint and transportation costs by delivering low-cost, zero-emission vehicle technology solutions. 

As a result of rising urbanization, the demand for smooth and sustainable point-to-point passengers and connections has increased. The technological advantage of modern 3-wheeler EVs will surely assist in the right planning of delivery routes and fleet upkeep, all while being environmentally friendly and cost-effective. The 3W electric cars are not just the future of last-mile mobility, but the future of transportation in general.
