Smart City Thiruvananthapuram Ltd (SCTL) has now completed the installation of two chargers (Bharat stage AC001) at Gandhi Park and are now open for the general public.
Public can use charging stations for free of cost till December 21. Starting from 1st Jan, 2022, public will have to pay Rs 10/unit fee for charging vehices.
All these is a part of SCTL campaign to promote green and clean energy with electric mobility. The EV charger which is installed at Gandhi Park can charge six vehicles simultaneously and vehicles with 15A plug top can use the charger.
Also, application based payment system is being built up. After the implementation of integrated command and control centre (ICCC), application based charging solution will also be available.
