Please help our readers understand about Ultraviolette Automotive’s history and how its EV journey began?

At Ultraviolette Automotive, we have always believed that for electric mobility to become
mainstream in India, it is important to build and develop vehicles that are desirable and
come with a certain pride of ownership. The genesis of the F77 was rooted with this single insight. Over the last 3 years we have been on an extensive journey of researching, innovating and developing various prototypes, and the F77 is a testimony of our vision of building an entirely new ecosystem of electric mobility in India.

Everyone is eagerly awaiting the launch of F77 electric bike which combines style, technology and the need for speed. Tell us more about its salient and distinguishing features.

The F77 busts every single negative notion and perception associated with electric vehicles. It has been designed keeping the aspirations of Indian consumers in mind while being tested for the toughest and most extreme terrain and climatic conditions in the
country.

The Riding Experience consists of different contributing factors like

  • The F77 touches 0 to 60 kmph in 2.9 seconds and 0-100kmph in 7.5 seconds.
  • Provides a range for 130 to 150 km in the city on standard driving conditions.
  • Regenerative braking with a power regeneration mode
  • Designed to deliver nimble, agile handling for confident control on urban streets and a thrilling ride on curving backroads. The center of gravity has been optimized to enhance traction, braking, and cornering performance.

What are your long term plans? Where do you see your company 10 years from now?

We are an innovator in the mobility space. Our intent to begin with, has been to try and
influence the EV industry towards high quality, technology centric products. With our first
offering, the F77, we have engineered a premium, no compromise product. We have
worked towards innovation on the energy side as well . We believe this is equally important towards making electric vehicles mainstream. With regard to the future, we aim to be market leaders in the electric 2 wheeler space by 2025. Design, technology and User experience will remain the core of all of our products moving forward.
