REVOLUTION Conference has welcomed thousands of cleantech and mobility experts to Amsterdam since its inception in 2017. However, the coronavirus outbreak has resulted in an unprecedented year for all industries—especially in terms of offline events.

Although there’s no official event ban in the Netherlands after September 1, REVOLUTION Conference organizer EVBox Group (composed of EVBox and Everon) have decided to proactively postpone the conference. REVOLUTION was initially re-scheduled for September 8, though this has now been moved again to a later date in 2021 that is still to be determined.

By making this decision early on, and creating digital alternatives that help to maintain the exchange of knowledge and best practices with members of the industry, EVBox Group has put the health and safety of REVOLUTION attendees first.

REVOLUTION Conference will return in 2021—as soon as it is deemed safe by both the organizers and the Dutch government. Throughout the remainder of 2020, REVOLUTION will look to establish its presence as a multimedia platform that will include quarterly virtual events, bi-weekly podcasts, and community building initiatives for the eMobility industry together with its partners.
