EVgo, the nation’s largest network of public electric vehicle fast charging stations, today announced it has officially opened its 1,000th DC Fast charger in the U.S., in partnership with Nissan North America. EVgo, the nation’s largest network of public electric vehicle fast charging stations, today announced that it has appointed infrastructure construction expert Jeff Ricketts as Vice President of Engineering and Construction. Over the course of his career, Jeff Ricketts has built and managed teams to deliver refueling stations for compressed natural gas and traditional gasoline and diesel. EV Safe Charge™, a US-based Electric Vehicle charging installation and services company named an LA Auto Show & AutoMobility LA 2017 Top 10 Startup, announced today the launch of EV Charge Mobile™, the first-ever comprehensive solution for portable Level 2 and DC fast EV-charging, which can bring most vehicles to 80% capacity within 20-30 minutes. Electric vehicle owners, and those considering the purchase of an electric vehicle, stand to benefit from APS’s Energy Efficiency proposal currently before the Arizona Corporation Commission. That proposal includes:

  • Outfitting new homes with pre-wiring for vehicle charging outlets;
  • Helping Arizona businesses and cities electrify their fleet;
  • Providing free electric buses and charging stations to select school districts;
  • Increasing the number of charging stations; and
  • Placing charging stations in multi-family housing locations.

IKEA, the world’s leading home furnishings retailer, today announced plans to install three Blink® electric vehicle charging stations at its future Indianapolis-area store opening Fall 2017 in Fishers, IN. This initiative reflects the continued partnership between IKEA and Car Charging Group, Inc. (OTC: CCGI), the owner of the Blink Network and Blink EV charging stations, and the largest owner and operator of EV charging services with thousands of public EV charging stations in 36 states and two countries. There currently are Blink EV charging units at 29 IKEA stores in the United States.
